Ben Davies defender, captain of the Wales national team, admits he was disappointed after losing the penalty shootout to Poland and missing out on being part of the Euro 2024 final round, but credits his opponent for doing better. Including sending encouragement to all involved parties to fight again.

Playoff qualifying round, 1 of the 3 finals, a ticket to Germany in the middle of this year appears to last 120 minutes including extra time. The ‘Red Dragons’ tied 0-0 with the Poles. They had to measure the goal duel and it was Daniel James, the winger from Leeds United, who was the only one who missed the shot.

Manager Robert Page’s team ended up losing 4-5 on penalties in front of a full capacity Cardiff Stadium.

However, Davies doesn’t want to blame the 26-year-old winger or anyone else because he believes the overall game was well done. But when it comes to penalty shootouts, it’s difficult to predict the outcome.

“It is a matter that is difficult to accept. We put everything into the game. But in the end it was not successful.” Opening his mouth via UFABET

“I don’t know what to say. It’s a good performance. But in the end, the results of the competition are more important than anything else. which does not go our way.”

“They (Poland) are a good team. Seriously, the football between the two nations didn’t escape much last night. But in the end having to decide by a penalty shootout is also cruel.”

“Now it’s all in my head. The personality displayed by the players It tells you how proud everyone is when they serve Wales.”

In June, Wales had a warm-up meeting with Slovakia, one of the countries that qualified for Euro 2024, and then it was time for the UEFA Nations League.
